Requirements

• Completion of a basic training program in home health aide services approved by NYS DOH, or an equivalent exam approved by the Home Care Department.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA)
• Basic understanding/commitment to the concept of Hospice Care for terminally ill patients
• Must have valid driver’s license and car to use for work
