Job Description
Lactation Specialist responsible for providing effective and comprehensive nursing care to patients and their significant others. Facilitates professional nursing practice, leads the Baby Friendly initiative, and educates staff and patients.
Requirements
- Masters in Nursing or related field (preferred)
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse
- Certified Lactation Consultant from International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Board (IBCLC)
- Minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills
