Full Stack Developer

NexGen Data Systems is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to produce scalable web applications. The primary responsibility is to develop and maintain web applications to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance required
• DoD Approved 8570 / 8140 OS and Cybersecurity certifications required
• 6-9 years relevant experience with scripting and object-oriented programming languages
• Familiarity with the most common SQL variations (preferably SQL Server and Postgres)
• Working knowledge of modern JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, or Angular
• Familiarity with GitLab or other Git based platforms as well as Linux and Windows server environments
• Familiarity with the most common Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, SQS, Lambda, RDS) as well as API Creation and RESTful services
• Ability to communicate technical details in a clear, concise, and professional manner to diverse stakeholders
• A strong sense of urgency including self-governance on task priority
• Must be willing to cover the on-call schedule on a rotating basis
• Enjoy solving problems, love taking on difficult challenges, and finding solutions
