Job Description
NexGen Data Systems is seeking a Referral Network Engineer to provide advanced network engineering support with focus on complex troubleshooting, security management, change control, and technical documentation across DHA network infrastructure.
Requirements
- Resolve complex LAN/WLAN/WAN technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Configure and maintain network firewalls, VPN devices, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Lead change management processes and conduct 24-hour change assessments.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting at all OSI model layers using SolarWinds, ARMIS, and Ansible.
- Support network security operations and vulnerability remediation (IAVA/CVE response).
- Conduct network performance analysis using MIB, MRTG, and monitoring tools.
- Create SOPs, technical guides, and process documentation.
- Mentor Network Engineer Associates and Network Specialists.
- Support system integration activities and coordinate with application teams.
- Participate in technical working groups and provide enhancement recommendations.
