Job Description
Nexpay, one of the fastest-growing fintech companies in the Baltics, is seeking a Compliance and Legal Officer to uphold regulatory standards and ensure adherence to compliance procedures within the organization.
Requirements
- Monitor regulatory developments from the Bank of Lithuania and EU regulators; assess their impact on the business
- Implement latest law changes, regulator guidance documents and best practices
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal policies and procedures in line with regulatory expectations.
- Conduct internal compliance audits, gap analysis, compliance risk assessments, and monitor ongoing adherence.
- Participating or leading various compliance related projects and initiatives
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including those with partners, service providers, and customers
- Provide legal advice to business units on new products and services
- Assist with any additional compliance/legal related tasks.
