Studio Technician (Morning News)

The Studio Technician operates various equipment for production and/or transmission of the KRON 4 Morning News. Responsibilities include operation of broadcast equipment, communication with crew, and problem-solving in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field
• Three plus (3+) years' experience in professional live television broadcast operations
• Problem-solving skills and quick thinking to resolve existing issues during live news
• Proficiency in operation of broadcast equipment
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to work all day parts, including weekends and holidays
• Availability to work overtime hours as situations arise
