Job Description
Student Programs at Nexteer Automotive expose students to real-world work experiences and technical environments. This position supports electrical system design for embedded control systems and requires hands-on work experience in a technical environment.
Requirements
- Required Skills:
- Ability to use typical electrical bench equipment
- Understanding of basic electrical circuit design and debug
- Ability to read and understand embedded software (C and assembly language)
- Ability to read and understand programs developed LabVIEW
- Design experience using Matlab/Simulink
- Candidate must be attending a 2-year college or 4-year university local to Saginaw
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Candidate must be able to work 20-32 hours, onsite, during Fall and Winter semesters
- Up to 40 in the summer
