Physical Security Specialist

NextEra Energy is seeking a Physical Security Specialist to join its Corporate Security team at its Juno Beach headquarters. This role provides foundational support for the enterprise-wide physical security program that protects critical energy infrastructure and maintains a safe-and-secure workplace.

Requirements

• Basic familiarity with ASIS Protection of Assets (POA) standards and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles
• Understanding of physical access control systems, video surveillance platforms, and intrusion detection technologies
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
• Awareness of building and fire code requirements
• Willingness to learn Technical Security Countermeasures (TSCM) methodologies and threat assessment tools
• Professional certifications such as PSP, PMP, and/or CSPM
