Sr Power Generation Combustion Turbine Engineer

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking a Senior Combustion (Gas) Turbine Engineer to join the Combustion Turbine Fleet Team (CTFT). The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the operation and maintenance of a diverse OEM combustion turbine fleet, including knowledge of turbine / generator mechanical sub-systems, basic design, vibration, performance, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, outage practices, and operational troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• 4+ years of experience
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Yellow Belt certification
• Strong communications/presentation skills
• Strong Excel capabilities with macro and programming skills desirable
• Familiarity with either the T3000, Ovation, or Netmation Controls Software
• Demonstrated field service or design experience with either the Siemens or Mitsubishi Combustion Turbines
