NextGen Federal Systems is seeking an Instrumentation Technician III to support our United States Air Force customer with Operational Test data collection operations on F-35s, F-22s, F-15Es, and F-16s.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 10 years’ aircraft instrumentation system experience.
- Ability to plan, develop, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain one-of-a-kind airborne instrumentation systems and upgrade their capabilities based on application of emerging technology in aircraft.
- Practical knowledge of electronic principles and practices and skill in the use of various pieces of electronic test equipment.
- Ability to evaluate, upgrade, modify and operate instrumentation systems prior, during and post operational missions.
- Ability to provide technical leadership to other technicians and support personnel.
- Possess practical knowledge in support of modification, and operations activities the Contractor shall move, store or load instrumentation systems, conduct system functional checks, cockpit integrity checks, data uploads/downloads, and mission configurations.
- Ability to coordinate and work with operating personnel in related fields and test support personnel as required and to plan, accomplish, and analyze test results.
- Ability to coordinate data reduction and analyze data to ensure instrumentation compatibility with data reduction capabilities and to monitor the validity of data and operational dependability of instrumentation.
