Job Description
Neighborhood Housing Services of Los Angeles County is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to build relationships with local government and community members. This role focuses on planning, organizing, and executing community events and projects aimed at improving neighborhood quality of life, particularly concerning homeownership and revitalization. The position will support mission, maintain accurate records, and be a central part of a strong local community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications or related field (preferred)
- Two years of experience in a non-profit environment (preferred)
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish (required)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, organization skills, and ability to juggle multiple priorities
