We seek individuals with experience working on City or State wide ERP Assessments and implementations to assist with project goals, objectives, project management guidelines, project standards, project scope, risk identification and mitigation, quality management, project budget, reporting and documentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years recent experience with managing large, complex ERP projects
- Experience developing/creating public sector procurement documents (e.g., RFPs) and related acquisition documents for software products and services
- Experience managing the public sector procurement process
- Ability to provide high level expertise across a broad range of business and IT related subject matter areas
- Experience performing cost benefit analysis regarding new IT purchases
- Experience with procurement policies and procedures
- Experience negotiating and managing software and services contracts
- Experience managing large IT budgets
- Public sector experience
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail
- Possesses strong analytical skills
- Exhibits effective team skills
- Ability to make decisions at the project team level and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis
- Experience with one of the following functional areas: Financial Management, Purchasing or HR/Payroll
