Design Engineer I

As a Design Engineer I, you will help drive the next generation electric motor designs for commercial and residential motor applications, applying your knowledge and analytical skills within a team of experienced electric motor engineers.

Requirements

• BS Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years related work experience in electric motors or similar industry preferred
• Aptitude for Pro/E 2/3D CAD solid modeling skills in supporting new and existing product designs
• Proficiency in fan, motor ventilation schemes and blower design
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in fractional motor design and process
• Demonstrated experience and proven results in driving projects from concept to production
• Experience working with all functional areas of an organization
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to see and understand elegant design solutions
• Ability to handle competing demands and multi-tasking requirements
