Job Description Summary: This role is aimed at candidates with a scientific background and a solid understanding of microscopy who want to apply their technical expertise in a consulting-oriented sales role. The position focuses on the management and development of scientific customers from universities, research institutes, imaging facilities, and the biotech and pharmaceutical industry in the southern German region.
Requirements
- Completed natural sciences degree
- Solid user knowledge in the field of microscopy
- First sales experience or a strong interest in a science-related sales or consulting role
- Experience in dealing with university structures, research institutes, or publicly funded institutions
- Knowledge of procurement and tendering processes in science and research
- Excellent presentation and communication skills at a scientific level
- Structured, autonomous working style and high self-organization
- Very good German and good English skills in word and writing
- Safe handling of MS Office and ideally CRM systems
- Driving license class B and willingness to travel within the region South
