Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team at Pictet Technologies. As a Senior Java Developer, you will design and implement backend systems using Java 21, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JDBC. You will also deploy and manage cloud-native solutions in AWS and work with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with data pipelines and frontend applications.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in backend development with Java 21, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JDBC.
- Strong command of relational databases.
- Hands-on experience deploying solutions in AWS environments.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and backend tasks.
- Experience managing infrastructure using Terraform.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and secure coding practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (GitHub/GitLab).
- AWS certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.
- Agile mindset and experience with tools like Jira.
