Job Description
The Screen Print Specialist is a manual printer position responsible for carefully placing garments on a printing press, taking printed shirts off the machine, and applying adhesive. The position requires attention to detail, eye-hand coordination, and the ability to work efficiently.
Requirements
- Ability to work the scheduled hours and willing to work overtime if needed
- Must be able to load shirts onto the machine and in the correct placement
- Must be able to transfer the ink through the screen by hand using a manual squeegee
- Must have an understanding of basic printing techniques and theory
- Must know the correct design and location that is being printed on the shirts for each order
- Must not damage shirts in any way
- Must have situational awareness to know when to stop the machine for quality and safety issues
