The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipment of goods.
Requirements
- Plan, manage, and oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team leaders to achieve productivity, quality, and safety targets
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system controls
- Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, service level, and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
- Manage labor planning, shift scheduling, and warehouse budgets
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, customer service, and IT teams to support supply chain objectives
- Oversee proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and WMS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5–8 years of warehouse or distribution operations experience
- Minimum 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics processes
- Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing KPIs, labor planning, and operational budgets
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
