Job Description
The Department of Coastal Systems (COS) of NIOZ is looking for a PhD candidate to model the impact of changes in North Sea benthic habitats on key fish species. The project aims to elucidate the immediate and long-term impact of introduced hard substrate on the demersal food web structure and dynamics.
Requirements
- MSc in a relevant discipline
- experience with mathematical modelling, population dynamic analyses, and/or theoretical (ecological) methods
- programming experience (e.g. Python, R, C++, Matlab)
