Director of People

Nitra is seeking a Director of People to own and scale its people function during a critical phase of growth. The role will partner closely with company leadership to align talent strategy with business goals, build high-performing teams, and develop the people systems needed to support rapid, sustainable growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in People Operations, Talent, or HR
• Proven experience partnering with executives and senior leaders in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment
• Strong judgment and ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution when needed
• Deep experience building and scaling recruiting and people systems from early-stage to growth-stage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization
• Experience with modern ATS and HR tooling (e.g., Lever, Greenhouse, HRIS platforms)
• Experience supporting both GTM and technical organizations
