Job Description
NJM is seeking a Commercial Lines Market Facing Underwriter to develop and manage a local territory for new business opportunities in Commercial Package, Auto, Workers Compensation, and Umbrella. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of Commercial Lines experience with a focus on Middle Market Underwriting experience.
Requirements
- Develop and manage a local territory for new business opportunities in Commercial Package, Auto, Workers Compensation, and Umbrella.
- Drive profitability and growth by Identifying new business, negotiating renewals, and maintaining strong customer and producer relationships.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Sales Team and support product development through market intelligence and departmental projects.
- Ensure compliance with legal/regulatory standards and assist in mentoring and training underwriting staff.
