Job Description
The Tax Director will provide leadership, management, strategic guidance, mentoring, training, and technical expertise to a team of tax professionals. The ideal candidate should be innovative and ready to drive change, with a strong background in tax consulting and/or compliance work experience.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of current federal tax consulting and/or tax compliance work experience
- 5 plus years of experience leading a tax practice
- Ability to direct a department at a public accounting firm with tax management in all facets of tax services
- Knowledge of domestic and international accounting and tax guidelines/standards
- Ability to identify and analyze complex taxation issues and problem solve/implement solutions
