Job Description
The Drilling Section Leader is responsible for the operational safety, efficiency, production, and client relations of the drilling operation. He or she must implement and uphold safety and environmental compliance requirements and provide onboard leadership and direction for meeting the customers drilling program requirements within Noble programs, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience as a Tour Pusher
- MODU OIM License, Unrestricted, Surface Units Underway or Surface Units on Location
- Valid Marshall Island endorsement, BOSIET CA EBS and Well Control Level 4 Surface and Subsea
- 5+ years of experience using IFS
- Strong technical background in all aspects of drilling operations and support equipment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills
- Proficient computer skills in office software and company proprietary software
- Experience with Dynamic Positioning Systems
- Experienced in marine environmental and hazardous material regulations and procedures
- Experienced in offshore marine operations, industrial environment, and drilling operations
