Job description
Design Engineer with strong visual taste and ability to ship, working at the intersection of design and engineering to make Nominal's web presence feel uniquely Nominal. The role involves leading design and implementation of web and brand experiences from concept through launch, defining interaction, motion, and layout patterns, and collaborating with Design, Marketing, and Engineering to align on intent and execution.
Lead design and implementation of web and brand experiences, define interaction, motion, and layout patterns, translate brand direction into web-native experiences, build prototypes and interactive explorations, create reusable components and patterns, ensure accessibility, performance, and cross-browser behavior, and collaborate with teams.
We're looking for someone with a portfolio showcasing strong visual taste, interaction craft, and shipped web work, experience designing end-to-end websites, prior work on a brand, marketing, or growth team, comfort moving between Figma and code, and experience contributing to a design system.
