Nomura is seeking an Associate in Credit Risk to monitor and analyze client portfolios, provide commentary on credit exposures and risk profiles, and manage risks for the firm's portfolio of collateralized transactions. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Financial Markets, with a strong understanding of vanilla derivative products, risk management concepts, and technical skills in Excel, Macros/VBA, and Python.
Requirements
- Monitor and analyze client portfolios in terms of credit exposures, risk profiles, and margin levels
- Quantify and provide appropriate haircut levels for securities financing transactions
- Manage risks for the firm's portfolio of collateralized transactions through relevant portfolio analysis
- Understand the rules and regulations of various regulatory bodies applicable for Regulatory Credit Risk Exposure & Capital calculations
- Automate/Simplify/Standardize risk management processes wherever possible
- Work with various risk managers and other stakeholders to address their requests for additional analysis
