Job Description
Nomura is seeking a Vice President to join the Risk Methodology Group. The role focuses on developing and enhancing risk models, particularly around FRTB, to ensure the firm's capital adequacy and effective risk management. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders and the development of risk management tools.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience
- Master’s in quantitative discipline (B.E / B. Tech+, M. Tech, MSc)
- FRTB capital models expertise
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts (probability, statistics, calculus)
- Good understanding of financial products (Bonds, Derivatives)
- Python coding skills
- Good in SQL / Excel
- Gitlab understanding
- VaR/Greeks knowledge
