Software Engineer

Software Engineer at Nomura, supporting the International Wealth Management Technology division. Manage the upgrade and transformation of core banking system, client communication management system, and digital banking channels. Lead and support the team in requirement definition, implementation, and testing.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience as a System Analyst in Banking environments
• Proven experience in Avaloq core banking, Assentis and/or digital banking project
• Strong understanding of wealth management banking process and digital user journey
• Hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and tools like JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow
• Familiarity with API integration, authentication mechanism, UX/UI principle, and core banking interface
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and communication skills
• Good knowledge of MAS and HKMA and HK SFC technology risk and cybersecurity risk guidelines and policy
