Sr. Software Engineer

Nomura is a global financial services group seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for its Capital Regulatory IT development team in Mumbai, India. The role involves working with global stakeholders, participating in the full project life cycle, and ensuring high-quality controls.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Apache Spark with Scala or Java or Python
• Participation in the full project life cycle, including technical analysis, design, data analysis, development, and testing
• High level of quality controls and checks through various industry standard mechanisms
• Experience in using various SDLC and DevOps tools and adherence to development standards
• Collaboration with other partner technology departments/teams and various stakeholders within IT and business
• Support for change management, change analysis, and front to back coordination
• Willingsness to grasp new skills/tools/apps
