Job Description
Nomura is seeking an eFX UI Specialist - Vice President to join its Wholesale Digital Office, Global Markets division in London. The successful candidate will work on building innovative solutions for clients in an ultra-low latency environment, leveraging strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript, as well as modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
Requirements
- Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript, plus proficiency in modern frameworks such as React or Vue.js
- Strong experience building institutional trading tools in Financial Markets is essential, with FX experience particularly advantageous given our platform focus
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab pipelines)
- Experience with performance optimization and responsive design best practices
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants and ability to effectively leverage them while maintaining code quality standards
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic front office environment, balancing competing priorities from sales and trading stakeholders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
