Head of Market Data Feeds (Java Software Engineer)

Nomura is seeking a Head of Market Data Feeds (Java Software Engineer) to lead the engineering of real-time market data feeds within the Data Lake team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Data Lake platform, optimizing data ingestion workflows, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience with Java ecosystem technologies, including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and microservices architecture patterns
• Comprehensive knowledge of market data processing workflows across one or more asset classes
• Hands-on experience integrating and optimizing market data feeds from multiple third-party vendor APIs
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation and present complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
