Job Description
We are seeking a Private Investments Valuation Specialist - Vice President to join our Finance - Independent Product Valuations team in New York City. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members to build expertise in private credit and infrastructure valuations while contributing to the team's analytical capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Financial Services experience
- Min of 3 years in private investments, credit analysis, structured products, or investment banking with exposure to valuation work
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field
- CFA Charterholder or progress toward the CFA charter is preferred
- Experience from valuation services firms, Big-4, investment banking, credit analysis, or asset management with demonstrated understanding of fair value concepts for illiquid instruments
- Experience leveraging technology to analyze deal documentation and company specific performance data is preferred
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and effective communication are vital to this role
- Ownership mentality with ability to resolve issues independently
