Job Description
The Political Normalization Consultant will provide strategic support to the SUSTAIN Project in advancing the normalization process in the Bangsamoro region. The consultant will help ensure that project activities remain aligned with the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) and its Normalization Track, while being responsive to the evolving political context. This includes offering timely political advice and analysis to anticipate risks, guide adaptive programming, and maintain trust among stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, mediation support, political analysis, normalization, or related governance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to engage conflict-affected communities, former combatants, local leaders, or civil society actors in advisory, analytical, or programmatic roles.
- Working knowledge of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) or demonstrated experience with comparable peace agreements, normalization frameworks, or political transition processes.
