Protection Officer (Ukrainian Nationals Only, 2 positions)

The Protection Officer (PO) role supports the implementation of civilian protection and violence-prevention programming for those affected by conflict. The PO will provide support for project activities, engage with stakeholders, and conduct training and seminars. The role requires a university degree in a related field, interest in peacebuilding, and practical experience in civilian protection and human rights.

Requirements

• University degree in a related field (Social Science, Development Studies, etc.)
• Interest in peacebuilding, conflict transformation, civilian protection, and human rights
• Qualifications or commensurate practical experience in peacebuilding, conflict transformation, or nonviolent peacekeeping
• 1-2 years relevant work experience in civilian/humanitarian/child protection and human rights
• NGO/humanitarian work
• Post-conflict/conflict area experience
• Experience in community organizing/mobilization
