Chinese Teacher

We are seeking a Chinese Teacher to join our Secondary team at Nord Anglia International School, Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering dynamic and effective lessons, fostering creativity and problem-solving, and integrating digital tools to enhance learning experiences.

Requirements

• Qualified to Bachelor of Education or appropriate Degree with PGCE in relevant Chinese subject
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Qualified teacher with experience teaching in a UK and/or international environment
• Chinese Training or similar qualification
• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experiences
• Knowledge and understanding of students’ learning and development and how this relates to Chinese practice
• Knowledge and awareness of current educational developments in Chinese
• Evidence of knowledge and understanding of wider educational developments
• Knowledge and experience in raising standards for all groups of students
• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom experience to enhance and extend the learning of students
• Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries lived in
• Compliance with visa requirements for working
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, and a willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required
