Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong is seeking a Computing Science Teacher to join their Secondary team. The teacher will lead initiatives to boost student participation, support curriculum implementation, and deliver dynamic and effective lessons. The successful candidate will possess qualified teacher status, experience teaching in a UK and/or international environment, and knowledge of current educational developments in Computing.
Requirements
- Qualified to Bachelor of Education or appropriate Degree with PGCE in relevant Computing subject
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching in a UK and/or international environment
- Computing Training or similar qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experiences
- Knowledge and understanding of students’ learning and development and how this relates to Computing practice
- Knowledge and awareness of current educational developments in Computing
- Evidence of knowledge and understanding of wider educational developments
- Knowledge and experience in raising standards for all groups of students
- How to plan, deliver, monitor, and evaluate lessons and learning as part of the school curriculum
- Knowledge of the English National Curriculum and related subject knowledge
- Knowledge of assessment and reporting procedures
- Knowledge of IGCSE, A Level and IB syllabus and all associated examination arrangements
- Ability to integrate technology into the classroom experience to enhance and extend the learning of students
- Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries lived in.
- Compliance with visa requirements for working.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, and a willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.
