Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong is seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join their Secondary team. The successful candidate will inspire student-led learning and drive excellent teaching and learning in the subject of Mathematics. The role involves supporting curriculum implementation, student engagement, and innovation within a dynamic, inclusive international environment.
Requirements
- Qualified to Bachelor of Education or appropriate Degree with PGCE in relevant Mathematics subject
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching in a UK and/or international environment
- Mathematics Training or similar qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experiences
- Knowledge and understanding of students’ learning and development and how this relates to Mathematics practice
- Knowledge and awareness of current educational developments in Mathematics
- Evidence of knowledge and understanding of wider educational developments
- Knowledge and experience in raising standards for all groups of students
- Ability to integrate technology into the classroom experience to enhance and extend the learning of students
- Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries lived in
- Compliance with visa requirements for working
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, and a willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required
