Requirements

• Set up and operate sound and visual systems for school activities
• Work closely with Music and Drama departments to support technical needs
• Record, edit, and mix audio tracks for various school activities
• Record and edit videos, providing technical support for video production
• Collaborate with sound and visual suppliers to ensure smooth running of equipment and services
• Ensure sound and visual equipment is in good working condition and maintain inventory records
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with sound or visual equipment
• Provide support to ICT department as needed
• Stay up to date with developments in learning technology and research new solutions
• Work flexibly to support various school activities, including evenings and weekends
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure safety of yourself and others
• Comply with School Health and Safety Policy
• Coordinate with staff and students in Music and Drama departments to ensure smooth execution of events
• Communicate clearly with teachers, students, and external vendors to ensure technical requirements are met
• Perform regular maintenance and testing of sound and visual equipment
• Manage repair requests and follow up with vendors for equipment servicing
• Assist with setup and breakdown of technical equipment during school events
• Provide on-site technical support during events
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up to date with industry trends and technical innovations
• Assist in teaching students about sound and visual equipment
