- Set up and operate sound and visual systems for school activities
- Work closely with Music and Drama departments to support technical needs
- Record, edit, and mix audio tracks for various school activities
- Record and edit videos, providing technical support for video production
- Collaborate with sound and visual suppliers to ensure smooth running of equipment and services
- Ensure sound and visual equipment is in good working condition and maintain inventory records
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with sound or visual equipment
- Provide support to ICT department as needed
- Stay up to date with developments in learning technology and research new solutions
- Work flexibly to support various school activities, including evenings and weekends
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure safety of yourself and others
- Comply with School Health and Safety Policy
- Coordinate with staff and students in Music and Drama departments to ensure smooth execution of events
- Communicate clearly with teachers, students, and external vendors to ensure technical requirements are met
- Perform regular maintenance and testing of sound and visual equipment
- Manage repair requests and follow up with vendors for equipment servicing
- Assist with setup and breakdown of technical equipment during school events
- Provide on-site technical support during events
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up to date with industry trends and technical innovations
- Assist in teaching students about sound and visual equipment
