The Tender Manager role supports the company's mission to develop and deliver clean energy power plants by mitigating risks and challenges associated with project execution. As a Tender Manager, you will work closely with the local sales team and represent the project management organization throughout the tendering and contracting process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in comparable positions
- Required experience in project management (ideally in the wind energy sector and/or in key project delivery projects)
- Good knowledge of local regulations and legal requirements related to construction work and health, safety, and environment (SSE/HS&E)
- Excellent ability to manage multiple interfaces
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proactive attitude, critical thinking, and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- SAP and Microsoft Project knowledge (a plus)
- Availability to travel within the country and internationally, as needed for project requirements
- German and/or Spanish proficiency is a plus
- Ability to meet all Canadian employment screening requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship and be eligible for a US passport
- Valid driver's license and insurability under the company's automobile insurance policy are essential requirements
