Job Description
North America Construction (1993) Ltd. is seeking a Journeyperson Electrician to join their Waste Water Treatment Plant project in Huntsville, ON. The Electrician will read and interpret electrical drawings and code specifications, assemble and install conduits and equipment, and maintain electrical systems.
Requirements
- Experience working in a heavy construction environment
- Valid Electricians license
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Hazardous location installation experience
- Experience with installation and troubleshooting of instrumentation
- Experience with 600V and 120V distribution installation and troubleshooting
- Experience working with rigid steel conduit, cable tray, high voltage systems, EMT conduit, motor controls
- Knowledge of safe operation of tools
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Valid WHMIS, Elevated/Aerial Work Platform, Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers and Working at Heights/Fall Arrest certificates
