Project Coordinaror

North America Construction (1993) Ltd. is seeking a Project Coordinator (Mechanical) to join their Water Pollution Control Plant project in Kemptville, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and detailing the project's contract management, documentation, and reporting.

Requirements

• Construction related formal education program - degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Tech, or relevant field experience
• 3+ years' experience working in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of Division 11 and 15 (Equipment, process, plumbing and HVAC)
• Ability to read and understand mechanical/process drawings & submittals, such as process (P&IDs) Drawings
• Experience with commissioning/start up
• Experience with material tracking, logging & inspections, and equipment management/storage & maintenance
• Experience with municipal/water treatment construction is an asset
• Must be proficient in Microsoft software such as, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Proficient in construction contract drawing and specification interpretation
• Experience with construction law and contract review and administration
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Work effectively in a team environment and under high pressure
• High level of initiative, grit and keen interest in technical problem solving
• Able to work with minimal supervision and confident in decision making
• Willing to travel with NAC to various projects
• Valid WHMIS and Health and Safety Awareness Training for workers/supervisors certificates are required
