Job Description
Multi-Skilled Operator - NAF: Observes safety rules, maintains work area, utilizes overhead crane and mobile equipment, performs dimensional inspections, handles material, and assists with inventory and maintenance.
Requirements
- Maintains work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition
- Utilizes an overhead crane and mobile equipment with care
- Initials and dates bills of lading and dispositions documentation
- Receives material, equipment and supplies
- Handles, identifies, and transfers raw, work-in-process and finished material
- Operates grinder to remove defects from material
- Performs yard duties such as: dumping scale/scrap/trash, arranging press tools, transporting material in/out/ around the shop
- Receives ingots, cross checking BOLs, various paperwork and inventory tracking system for accuracy
