PT Admissions Clerk

North Carolina Specialty Hospital is seeking a Part Time Admissions Clerk to join their team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for greeting patients and families, answering phones, and providing interpretation of forms. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and one to two years of experience as an admissions clerk or in Health Information Services in a hospital setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• One (1) to two (2) years minimum experience as an admissions clerk or in Health Information Services in a hospital setting.
• Effective communication skills; both orally and written.
• Computer skills needed.
• Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
