Job Description
North Park University is seeking part-time adjunct professors for the School of Education, specifically for the Special Education (SPED) LBS1 Endorsement program. The successful candidates will teach courses in the School of Education, utilizing the NP syllabus template and approved textbooks. The adjunct faculty will be contracted on a term-by-term basis and are expected to adhere to the printed course schedule and ensure timely grading and feedback.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Special Education
- Clear understanding of North Park University’s mission of Christian higher education
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience using Canvas or a comparable learning management system (LMS)
- Experience teaching at a university level
- Familiarity with online instruction
