Graduate Assistant - Residence Life and Housing Assistant Coordinator

North Park University seeks a Graduate Assistant - Residence Life and Housing Assistant Coordinator to support the Office of Residence Life and Housing and promote individual and community development among students. The position involves implementing the basic goals of Residence Life and Housing, providing administrative and operational support, and facilitating student moves and room changes. The Graduate Assistant will also serve as a role model, support undergraduate student development and programming, and hold weekly office hours to respond to student inquiries.

Requirements

• Develop positive and professional relationships with undergraduate and graduate students
• Support the Professional Staff of Residence Life and Housing
• Assist with operations of housing and administrative tasks
• Facilitate student moves and room changes
• Hold 14-16 hours of weekly office hours
• Make referrals for students facing academic, personal, medical, and/or spiritual concerns
• Assist in crisis management and emergency response
• Work occasional evenings and weekends for programming, operations, and busy periods
• Assist with the Student Conduct process for students in campus housing
• Run the Social Media accounts (Instagram) for the office
• Create marketing materials and educational content
• Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the DRLH
