North West Rubber Ltd. is seeking an HR Generalist to provide day-to-day human resources support across two locations in Brantford, Ontario. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and workplace issues, and support core HR processes including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, policy interpretation, and compliance with Ontario employment legislation.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–5 years of progressive HR experience in a Generalist or Coordinator role
- Working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and best practices
- Experience using HRIS and ATS systems (ADP preferred)
- Previous experience in talent acquisition is a must with a preference for candidates with manufacturing experience
- Strong data mindset; leverages data to drive decision making and influence change
- Working and collaborating with a diverse, multicultural group
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adjust messaging for the audience
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism; strong sense of confidentiality
