Public Safety Officer

The Public Safety Officer will provide safety services for the college community, including protection of students, staff, and facilities. The position requires flexible hours, including weekend hours, up to 28 hrs/week.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• PA State Act 235 Certification (Firearms)
• Valid driver's license
• CPR/AED certification
• Strong organizational, communicative, and leadership skills
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and climb several flights of stairs
• Ability to walk and stand for several hours at a time
• Ability to execute multiple tasks and assignments
• Ability to function in a crisis situation
• Minimum two years public safety, law enforcement or other related experience and/or training
