Job Description
The Instructional Assistant, CDL (part-time) role supports the CDL faculty and Instructional Assistants with the instruction of the Trucking Driving (Class A) Technical program and Straight Truck (Class B) certificate at Northcentral Technical College's Public Safety Center of Excellence in Merrill, Wisconsin.
Requirements
- Two years (4,000 hours) occupational experience appropriate to the position.
- Thorough understanding of the truck driving industry and terms, including DOT requirements, CDL testing, and proper safety protocols.
- Valid Wisconsin Class A CDL and ability to pass college insurance standards and DOT testing guidelines and regulations.
- Ability to work with students of various backgrounds, ages, and capabilities in an educational setting.
- Adequate computer skills to assist students with course software.
