American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities is seeking an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to provide sign language interpreting and accessibility services for employees and partners. The successful candidate will have a willingness to be part of a team, a desire to learn, and the ability to be flexible in communication modality. The position requires proficiency in American Sign Language, experience with business administration, management science, or public administration, and a valid driver's license.

Requirements

• Fluency in American Sign Language or other non-verbal means of communication
• 36 months' training or 36 months' experience in business administration, management science or public administration
• Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration
• 12 months' training or 12 months' experience in supervisory, administrative and/or managerial position
• Valid commercial driver's license (if assigned to operate vehicles)
