Job Description
The State of Ohio is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems in the historic Capitol Square Complex. The role requires a strong understanding of NEC and electrical safety best practices, as well as experience with 208V and 480V systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial or institutional electrical maintenance experience
- Demonstrated experience with 208V and 480V electrical systems
- Solid understanding of NEC and electrical safety best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with fire alarm and life safety systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in mechanical rooms, on ladders, and in varying conditions
