Physician Administrator 2 TCI (Medical)

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking board-eligible or board-certified physicians in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine to provide primary care services on a full-time basis in the role of Chief Medical Officer for the male population at Trumbull Correctional Institution. The role involves working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system.

Requirements

• Certificate to practice medicine in state of Ohio as issued by State Medical Board
• Board-eligible or board-certified physicians in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine
• Basic medical procedures, corrections, medical charting, medication management, critical thinking, collaboration, interpreting data, teamwork, time management
