Associate Director - Leadership Giving

The Associate Director, Leadership Giving will join the Leadership Giving team to advance high mid-range donor giving at Northeastern University, focusing on leadership level gifts to the University. The role involves identifying and building relationships with prospective donors, developing strategies for cultivation and solicitation, and navigating planned giving opportunities. The Associate Director will also supervise at least one Leadership Giving frontline fundraiser and contribute to the success of the leadership giving program.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of progressive development experience
• Proven success in fundraising, including donor/prospect portfolio management and gift solicitations at the $25,000+ level
• Ability to demonstrate a highly sophisticated approach to fundraising, utilizing major and planned giving resources
• Ability to manage frontline fundraising staff and result in increased fundraising results and enhanced fundraising skills
• Strong working knowledge of development, including gift processing, portfolio management, prospect research, and donor stewardship
